Summary:
My car is a Polo Green 1994 Chevy Camaro Coupe. It had about 68,300 mi. on it when I bought it, and now has just over 80K mi. The car has the Chevrolet L32 3.4L V6, which puts out 160 HP @ 4600 rpm, and 200 lb-ft of torque @ 3600 RPM. The 4-speed automatic 4-L60E tranny w/overdrive transmits that power to the rear wheels. The rear end has a ratio of 3.23:1. The rear wheels are the optional 16" Z28 aluminum alloy rims, which are wrapped with slightly lower profile Goodyear Eagle GTII P245/50R16 tires. All in all, the car weighs in at 3289 lbs. The interior consists of beige cloth bucket seats. A Pioneer DEH-P5200 head unit was professionally installed, which has the MOSFET 45Wx4 amplifier as well as a rotary volume knob, preset/customizable equalizer, pre-amp output for subwoofer, input for television, VCP, etc., and DFS (Detachable Face Security), as well as an integrated alarm which emits warning tones through the speakers and uses door ajar sensors to initialize. Pioneer TS-A1665 and TS-A1675 speakers are used, which are 6.5" (the 1675 is a 6.75" (6.5" OVERSIZE) mounting unit while the 1665 uses a spacer to fit in the 6.75" space) 3-way speakers with a RMS capacity of 50W and a max of 180W/ea. The two front speakers are powered by a 125Wx2 RMS GM-X965 two channel amp, and the rear speakers are powered with 45Wx2 coming out of the Pioneer head unit. I also have a 12" Cerwin Vega HED-12DVC dual voice coil subwoofer in a custom ported box which is powered by a second GM-X965 amp bridged at 380Wx1. This setup proves for a very hi-fidelity sound experience, especially when using the RF modulator that is connected to my Sony CD-Walkman MP3 player via a customized glowing switch. The car runs very smoothly and with quite a definitive growl due to the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit 2nd Generation Cold Air Induction intake, a hi-flow catalytic converter, and a ProFlow muffler ending in two 3.5" chrome angle-cut tips. Car has had oil changed every 3K since I bought it. Upcoming mods: Subframe connectors, sway bar, posi-trac rear end, 3.42 gears, rear disc brakes, and a custom Garrett T3/T4 hybrid turbo w/intercooler!! 12-second timeslips, here I come!

Sound System Completion:
Well, it's finally time for my sound system to be completed... Another 1-farad cap or replacement with 2 1.3-farad capacitors is in order, as well as another Pioneer amp, a switch to a 12" Pioneer sub with higher power handling, and 2 Pioneer Premier 6x9's. All this will be custom-installed with a lot of vinyl, MDF, and blue neon tubes! More info as soon as I get going on this!

Quick Mods:
I have done a few quick modifications to my car that have improved on various features of the car. First of all is an easy way to improve your Camaro's lighting. Don't you hate it when the fog lights turn off when you turn on the brights (assuming you have a 93-97 Camaro, for 98-02 the fogs and the low beams turn off!)? Well, all you gotta do is take a peek under the fuse & relay center under the hood, cut the light green wire leading into the fog light relay, being sure to insulate the end coming out of the relay and ground the end that is coming from the other side, and that's it! The light that indicates the fogs are on will still show that they are off, but if you take a look they are most definitely on! A couple of pictures of the beautiful sextet of lighting apparatuses are below...

Car Alarm Install:
I put in a Crimestopper alarm, complete with keyless entry, remote start, and lots of neat features such as silent arm/disarm, valet mode, carjack mode, panic mode, trunk release, multi-vehicle remote, glowing buttons on remote, emergency disarm button, hood switch, etc. The remote start features infinity run (for running engine for long periods safely without the key), a quickstop mode (for leaving the engine running for quick stops), anti-grind, etc. Below are pictures of the installation, let me tell you, this isn't for everyone! Talk about a bundle of wires!!

Springs:
Eibach springs at home, waiting for installation... Lowered, precise handling is not far away now!

Gauges:
White-faced gauges installed! Purchased off of E-Bay for $25, and only moderately difficult to install. Overall, it's a piece of cake, it just takes a long time to disassemble the dashboard and then to line up the electroluminescent sheet over the needles without snapping them! However, a little patience and finesse goes a long way, as can be seen by the beautiful results.

Hyperwhite Headlights:
Below are some pics of the hyperwhite headlights I have installed. Eaglite 9006 HID-look bulbs in H4351 sealed beam conversion and Eurolite 893 foglights installed, standard wattage. Click on thumbs below to blow 'em up in a new window! The place I purchased these lights from no longer makes them, but fear not! You can simply pry the bulbs out of the H4351 sealed housing with a pair of pliers and epoxy in some 9006 bulbs for the same effect as my housing. My friend Zach did this instead of paying the ridiculous $25 or whatever it is to replace the bulb housing. If you want, you can also use 9005 bulbs for the H4352 high beams. It works pretty well; the only problem is that you can’t calibrate the angle quite as well because it’s not seated the same way. If you do a clean job with the epoxy it’s just about the same. If you have any doubts, just pull up to a wall or garage door and check the alignment after doing one bulb, you can adjust it very easily. The bulbs that I purchased are by a company called Eaglite. I’m quite happy with them, although they are *NOT* DOT approved. If you want DOT approved headlights, by far the best bulbs are the Sylvania Silverstars. They are every bit as bright as mine, except they are pure white without the blue tint to them. If you look around you can find lights that are much more prominently blue from Japanese companies, but in my humble opinion if you go too much bluer than the tint that I have it will be more difficult to see. Even the slight tinge of blue my bulbs emit it is easy to tell that there is definitely a large chunk of the full spectrum of light missing. The way I see it is that it makes things a bit easier to see because they project a whiter light, but in practice it’s not as good for seeing the road in very dark conditions because of that blue filter to get rid of the yellow light. If it’s really dark I need to switch on the high beams, but for seeing road markers, signs, etc, the blue-tinted bulbs do work better for me than the stock bulbs. If you truly want better lighting other than a different hue to your lights, you have two options available: Replace your sealed beam units with PIAA projector housings, or buy a true High Intensity Discharge kit. This option is definitely the best, although it is quite expensive. Check out T-Byrne Motorsport’s HID kits. Well, that’s pretty much my take on Camaro lighting; I hope this helped, feel free to ask me any other questions you have!!
